  1. Our group agreed that students are more engaged in lessons when technology is involved. Also, that students' sense of achievement and responsibility in their work increases when technology incorporated.

  2. Hands-on, interactive learning engages students more than lecture. Technology provides a way for students to experience engaging, real-world applications.

  3. Our group decided on these two points:
    1. increase hands-on activities and interactive lessons such as field trips, group projects, and project-based assignments.

    2. reduce teacher-led activities such as lectures, worksheets, and note-taking.

  4. All kids like technology but also like choice in technology. They like to be creative.

Schools offer one type of technology when the kids have multiple technologies at home.

  5. Teachers and their attitudes/personalities are most important things in class--their interactions, choice and relatioships. Technology use needs to be engaging and useful.

  6. 1) Technology based learning

It is amazing that all of our students shared the same desires to participate in more interactive learning utilizing technology tools. It is a necessity for students to utilize various types of technology to help engage them in a higher more critical style of learning. The idea was also posed that consistent usage of technology will allow students to become more competent and efficient users of technology tools.

    2) Collaborative Learning

Students need hands on social learning. Several students agreed that they work best in groups and learn from each other through discussion.
